What is CUR?

In simplest terms it is a hydroxide rich alkaline water concentrate that will infuse any water with hydroxide, turning it into an unsurpassed acid eliminator. Most alkaline waters only buffer excess acidity by introducing alkaline minerals which is helpful but does not eliminate the acidity like hydroxide does.

Although other alkaline waters have some hydroxide, none comes close to the level of free hydroxide provided by CUR. This is because our hydroxide comes only from food grade calcium hydroxide which in turn comes from nature’s perfect hydroxide vault – limestone. It is 100% natural and far more stable than the electro-magnetically created hydroxide that is produced by alkaline water machines or is found in other alkaline waters.

How does CUR eliminate acid?

The body has many acids that it uses in its daily operation that are beneficial. In fact, hydrogen protons themselves are key to many biological processes that take place in the body. The problem comes when outside acids are introduced or excess acids are produced and hydrogen protons build up. This is damaging to the body and robs it of it precious resources. Further, excess acidity contributes to inflammation in the body which adversely impacts any disease conditions.

Hydrogen protons and hydroxide ions do not like being separated and a strong electromagnetic bond attracts them to each other. When hydroxide (OH-) is introduced into an environment where excess acidity (H+) exists, it immediately seeks out the hydrogen protons to combine with and become water (H2O). This is why hydroxide is such a strong acid eliminator.

What are the benefits of drinking CUR?

DECREASED INFLAMMATION. By eliminating excess acidity, the body’s inflammation responses are quieted and normal fluid levels are restored.

ULTRA-HYDRATION. CUR not only hydrates by providing the water the hydroxide is suspended in, but it creates new water molecules as it eliminates acidity (hydrogen protons). Hydroxide is the only substance that can help the body create water. Because water is being created as acid is eliminated, dehydration is not a possibility. Optimal hydration is key to proper body function and to healing.

INCREASED DETOXIFICATION. The body not only hydrates the cells with the water created but it also primes the detox pathways. This may result in increased urination as the acidic load on the body is reduced but will decrease over time.

INCREASED ENERGY. Energy production in the body creates hydrogen. By removing excess hydrogen (acidity) the body is able to produce more energy without stressing its systems.

INCREASED OXYGEN. Acidic load robs the body of resources that would be otherwise utilized for the transport and availability of oxygen. When the acidic load is eliminated rather than merely buffered, more resources become available for oxygen transport.

RESTORED HARMONY. When excess acidic load is eliminated rather than merely buffered, the body is able to operate more efficiently in all biological processes.

If CUR is a concentrate, how do I drink it?

Here are some general guidelines for drinking CUR

  • Each bottle contains 32 oz. of hydroxide rich alkaline water concentrate.
  • Each ounce of CUR makes 32 oz. (1 liter) of ready to drink hydroxide rich alkaline water.
  • It is best to drink the diluted form of CUR on an empty stomach. There can be no interference with hydrochloric acid in the stomach if you do this.
  • If an empty stomach is not possible, wait at least 30 minutes after eating any food before drinking the diluted form of CUR.
  • After drinking the diluted form of CUR, wait 10 to 15 minutes before eating anything. This allows the hydroxide to clear the stomach before the introduction of food.
  • Do not drink acidic beverages for at least 30 to 40 minutes after drinking the diluted hydroxide solution. Acidic beverages will deplete the acid eliminating potential of the hydroxide.
  • It is best to split up your consumption throughout the day if at all possible beginning first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This allows for continual addition of hydroxide for the body to use in acid elimination.

How much CUR should I drink per day?

This all depends on the acidic load you find your body under at any given time. The versatility of CUR is unique in that the dose can be adjusted daily to meet whatever circumstances you find yourself in.

You can add 1 to 3 ounces (30 to 90 ml) of CUR to make one quart 32 oz. (950ml) of diluted CUR solution:

.5 oz. (15 ml) CUR + 15.5 oz. (460 ml) of water = 16 oz. (475 ml) of diluted solution

1 oz. (30 ml) CUR + 31 oz. (920 ml) of water = 32 oz. (950 ml) of diluted solution

2 oz. (60 ml) CUR + 30 oz. (890 ml) of water = 32 oz. (950 ml) of diluted solution

3 oz. (90 ml) CUR + 29 oz. (860 ml) of water = 32 oz. (950 ml) of diluted solution

Each ounce increases the acid eliminating potential of that quart of water. Normal dilution is 1 ounce (30 ml) of concentrate per 32 oz. (950 ml) of water and should be sufficient to help your body handle its daily acidic load for normal life conditions.

If, however, your body is under more physical stress, emotional stress, dietary stress, or environmental stress than normal, you can increase to 2 or 3 ounces (60 to 90 ml) depending on how much stress your body is under. For example, athletes during intense training or someone fighting an illness would be individuals who could find it beneficial to increase the amount of concentrate used.

How much CUR can be added to my water?

You can add 1 to 3 ounces (30 to 90 ml) of CUR to make one quart 32 oz. (950ml) of diluted CUR solution:

.5 oz. (15 ml) CUR + 15.5 oz. (460 ml) of water = 16 oz. (475 ml) of diluted solution

1 oz. (30 ml) CUR + 31 oz. (920 ml) of water = 32 oz. (950 ml) of diluted solution

2 oz. (60 ml) CUR + 30 oz. (890 ml) of water = 32 oz. (950 ml) of diluted

What types of water can I drink with CUR?

CUR is a concentrate that can be added to ANY water to infuse it with hydroxide and turn it into an acid eliminator. Distilled or reverse osmosis waters provide the best sources for dilution but again CUR will turn ANY water into an effective acid eliminator.

Will CUR have an effect on stomach acids?

The stomach is a very acidic environment and CUR is very alkaline. Logically one would assume the two cannot co-exist or operate in harmony but such an assumption would be in error. Although the stomach is a very acidic environment when food is present, it does not exist in a state of perpetual high acidity. Otherwise, it would digest itself. The stomach only produces acid when it needs it for digestion and otherwise returns to a lower acidic state.

How does CUR help with oxalates/oxalic acid?

Whether the oxalic acid comes from outside of the body or exists inside the body, CUR is the perfect answer. It will neutralize the hydrogen protons while creating new water molecules. This is the most direct impact CUR can have on oxalic acid. Here is the formula of the reaction:

(C2O4– + 2H3O+)aq + 2OH– → 4H2O + C2O4–

Will drinking CUR cause increased urination?

At first you may experience increased urination as your body eliminates excess acidity and removes it. This will decrease with time and learning to listen to your body is the most important factor in determining how fast to increase your intake or what the proper amount of CUR is for your body.

If you experience increased urination, stay at that current dosing level until the urinary output decreases. Remember CUR is creating water in the body as it eliminates acidity. There is, therefore, no need to be concerned that the increase in urination will lead to dehydration.

Is there a taste to the mixed solution of CUR?

It is possible you may find there is a slight taste to the water when the concentrate is added to your water, especially at the higher amounts. This can be happening for a couple of reasons. First, your body and particularly your tongue may be acidic and are reacting to the presence of hydroxide. This is a good sign. Second, you may be tasting the small amount of calcium present in each ounce much like any mineral water has a taste. Either of these will most likely go away with a little time as your body adjusts to the increased hydroxide in CUR. In fact, many people who do experience a slight taste find their body craving it as it grows accustomed to the benefits of CUR.

Will I feel worse before feeling better?

Most diseases and chronic conditions either thrive in or add to acidic conditions in the body. As such, CUR may be the perfect addition to any treatment regimen. Reducing acidity can have two effects. First, it can make the body a less hospitable environment for any disease or chronic condition. Second, it can free up resources being monopolized by the acidity and use them to heal and recover. In either case, the reduction of acidity can speed up the recovery processes in the body. It is important to note that the hydroxide is not causing the healing or recovery but is merely allowing the body to heal and recover as it was intended to in the first place. Reducing acidity frees the body to work properly.

With this in mind, it is important to recognize the effect that reducing the acidic load on the body can have on the overall healing processes. The most important rule when using CUR is to learn to listen to your body. Increase both the intake and/or concentration of CUR slowly over time as you learn to listen to your body and bear in mind that symptoms may increase during this adjustment period before they are resolved.

Does CUR interfere with medications?

There is nothing in CUR that would cause an interaction with a drug or medication.

That being said, if you are on any medication or other treatment protocol, be aware that as the body begins to function properly with the reduction in acidic load, these treatments may need to be adjusted. If you are under the care of a licensed health care professional consult them prior to using CUR and inform them of any changes in symptoms that may affect their treatment regimen once you begin using it.

Does dissolved baking soda provide the same results as CUR?

Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is an alkaline powder that neutralizes acids, including stomach acid. The body itself produces sodium bicarbonate in its attempt to regulate the pH of the blood. Introduction of dissolved baking soda into the acidic environment of the stomach will neutralize stomach acid, which in turn will force the body to produce more acid and sodium bicarbonate. This effect however, is only a secondary and complementary mechanism in diluted CUR whereas it is the primary mechanism with baking soda.

Baking soda by its very nature contains a lot of sodium (NA+) so there is also the danger of too much sodium absorption. It is clear that although diluted CUR and baking soda share some similarities, their overall mechanism of operation is quite different. CUR is mainly a hydroxide ion provider that contains no added sodium!

Will the pH of my blood be affected by drinking CUR?

The body has a remarkable ability to maintain a blood pH in a 7.35-7.45 range. Measurements outside of this range mean something is seriously wrong. For this reason, trying to measure blood pH will not determine either the need for or the efficacy of CUR. The blood can carry increased acidity in it and still fall within this range. The more important measurement is the oxygen content of the blood. CUR will help increase oxygen in the blood by freeing oxygen held captive by excess acidity through its natural process of elimination and in turn stops acids from depleting vital oxygen levels in the blood.

I have an Ionizer. Can I add CUR to my ionized water?

Yes you can, CUR is a powerful hydroxide rich alkaline water concentrate solution and adding CUR to a water that has gone through ionization will greatly increase the presence of hydroxide in the water.

Does CUR need to be refrigerated?

No, CUR does not require refrigeration. If you like cold water you can store in the refrigerator. CUR is some pretty sturdy stuff! If left in a hot car it will not be affected. If it freezes just let it thaw out. As mentioned, the most important thing is to leave the cap on while storing, in between drinking , and if you have a glass open, just drink it within 30 minutes.

What containers will work best to store the diluted CUR or drink from?

Glass, stainless steel, or BPA free plastic containers are all fine to drink from or store pre-mixed solutions of CUR.
